Other good birds for the year included Crane, Red-necked Phalarope, summer plumage Spotted Redshank, Pectoral Sandpiper, 31 Avocets, at least 5 Wood Sandpipers, Puffin, Spoonbill, Bittern, Green-winged Teal, Garganey, Eider, Bewick’s Swans, Pomarine Skuas, Rose-ringed Parakeet, Richard’s Pipits, Bearded Tit and Wryneck.

Every year there are a few surprise species that are not reported and this year they included Leach’s Petrel, White-fronted Goose, Great Crested Grebe, Sandwich Tern, Tawny Owl, Pied Flycatcher, Wood Warbler, Firecrest and Snow Bunting.
